Over many centuries Anatolia has transformed, giving birth to new civilizations, and bearing infinite number of fruits of all sorts, but one thing always remained the same: a culinary culture that refuses to be individualistic. With its rituals, warmth, and the long periods of time spent at its tables, these lands have one common ground: sharing. At Leb-i Derya, we take it upon ourselves as a duty to keep this ancient culture alive, and create our dishes with this idea in mind. Prepared with local ingredients, small plates fill the table, reminding us of our origins and that we should never forget to share, and whispering “don’t settle on just one portion, try different things; celebrate variety and abundance, enjoy it.” We’re breaking the cliché belief that “Where there’s a good view, there cannot be good food,” and offering you the chance to experience one of the best culinary experiences Istanbul has to offer and to devour the cityscape of Istanbul at the same time. We’re proud of it.
